  Moongriffin is just a regular guy working the carnival rides at Coney Island and as an unsuccessful door-to-door lightbulb salesman. After an unceremonious firing (for alleged theft of elephant ear batter) he decides to go into business as a private detective using his mysterious father's (who he's never met) political ties. As he spends more time with criminal elements of society, he slowly begins to uncover a darker side of reality that's been kept hidden from him ... and encounters enemies he never knew he had. With help from his friends HalFlife, Phantom Crew of Intelligent Robots and Ankleface they battle intergalactic forces of evil, fight zombie free jazz musicians, hang out in the alley behind Walgreens and get krumpin.
